Who we are

NIFES has been in existence for 57 years having started on the 31st of August, 1968. NIFES Port Harcourt Zone started 25 years ago.

Believing that God has called all Christians to be involved in world evangelization, we seek to help students to hear that call and to discover their place of maximum participation at home or abroad.

We teach and challenge students to be biblically balanced and be practical disciples of Christ in character and conduct. NIFES believes that biblical discipleship is to know and follow Christ consistently at all cost, with the ultimate goal of being like Jesus.

To be a movement of Christ-like students in Nigeria tertiary institutions, transforming the campus and society upon graduation.

Our entire team wants to see a world where every youngster struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.

Our Mission

NIFES exists to reach out to students through evangelism and discipleship training, mobilizing them upon graduation to impact the campus, church, and society with godly values.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
